ABOUT
I grew up in Kumamoto City, Japan. I studied Psychology (Perception) at the University of Tokyo, and obtained a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Informatics from the same university.
I started my career as a research engineer, eventually focusing on the planning/design side of software products. I was a service and UX designer for a connected vehicle service at the automotive company Nissan. After that, I joined a global audio equipment company Audio-Technica as a product manager of professional products, UX designer, UI designer and project lead. There I led projects and successfully launched over 10 products globally
My approach is informed by both my academic background in Psychology (Perception) and my creative experience as a guitarist and indie music producer. This blend of logical analysis and creativity allows me to define zero-to-one product architectures and drive them through to a successful launch.
Now, I am based in Amsterdam to embrace a broader perspective. Leveraging over a decade of experience in the Japanese tech industry, I partner with clients across the globe, regardless of their location.
Believe in the power of creation to unlock the unknown
During my years performing at nursing homes, a nurse once told us that people in a state of low consciousness still had some reaction after our musical performance. Though they may not appear to be awake or listening, the music still conveys a message to their hearts.
This experience continues to drive my belief that what we create together can unlock hidden possibilities in every indivisual.
